As strange as doing an entire magazine on doorknobs sounds, it was quite fun putting this project together. We as people take for granted even the littlest thing and in this case, it happens to be the doorknob. We should stop and think to ourselves about the inventions and creations that people have done and how it has brought America to the technology that we have today. Without the invention of the doorknob back in the 18th century who knows where we would be today. Eventually we would have figured it out, but would that change our recent technology? Will we still have those high tech doorknobs that the CIA or SWAT use in movies? One has to think that without the smallest things that we tend to overlook has an effect, could be good or bad. Lastly, I can’t give all the credit to me for the making of this magazine. But special thanks goes to Rich Cameron for being patient with me, Ernesto Gomez, where would I be without your awesome indesign skills? and Tim Dickerson for all your copyediting. Thank you.
